Great site, I live in SE Minnesota and love to hunt large bucks. I've taken two over 160 with the last one netting 168 7/8 officially. I have trail cam pics of the deer and am trying to upload them the only problem is they are too big. Any advice on how to resize them or would someone do it for me?

Thanks Bill D

If you're using microsoft office picture manager, you can open it and go to the Edit Pictures button and compress the pic for a webpage. Then you just save it as that and it should be good. I'm guessing other programs have the same feature.

I was able to resize and post to 2006 trophy photo's now I just need to add it to my post, anyone care to clue me in or transfer the pic.

Thanks Bill D

I was wondering if anyone had an idea of the age of this deer. My taxidermist thought he was 5 1/2 but the more I look at him I think he might have been 4.5 and maybe a 3.5 year old. Not that it matters he looks great on my wall but I just wonder how he would've looked if he was 3.5 and I had given him a year or two. Anyway the pics should be able to be seen on my profile or under 2006 trophys.

Thanks Bill D

Welcome to the site. Da heck with his age, shoot first age later comes to mind with him.
If I was to guess I would say 4 1/2.

4.5...........I wasn't letting that one walk. I live on and own a 20 acre parcel and was able to take him on my own land. This is only the 2nd buck I have taken on the property in 6 years. Last year I was hunting an 8-point with 14" g-2's. My neighbor ended up harvesting him the last day of the Slug season. I have some trail-cam pics of him to, I will dig them up to share.

Bring on the rut........I'm ready.

Here he is. Sure wish I could go back and do a better job taking pictures. I was so excited I forgot to video the recovery too.
