Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! Jjohnson- we are just a bunch of fishing nuts on the other site, sign up!!! I am in my bowhunting nut stage right now. I just got the new xt, and have been shooting the heck out of it. I start at 70 yards, and shoot 30 arrows, then 60 yards and 30 arrows, all the way down to 20 yards...every night.
Sunday was my first day out, and I saw three bucks and six does, shot one of the does. Quartering away at a bad angle, but I absouletly destroyed that animal. I am now completely confident in my setup.
I went out this evening, saw two does, and three bucks...one fork, one 140 class deer, and one shooter. I was rattling at the shooter, and out of no where came the 140 class buck all riled up and ready to fight(I passed on this deer), and the shooter didn't even care about the rattling. What gives...stupid deer!!
Muddy- I don't think I have ever been there- I know I haven't in at least ten years anyways. I shoot with an old PSE pro staffer that was 1992 bowhunter of the year- and we have a bunch of 3-d's setup in a yard...I love shooting 3-D targets!!!
Again, guys...thanks for the warm welcome!!
