I bet once that velvet drops off he's not going to look as good as you think. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, But I think his better days are still to come. I'm guessing only 3.5.

I realize he isn't on your shooter list, purely based off the other BEASTS you've shared with us...BUT, it could very well be a stretch for that deer to live another two years. He looks old...plus if you take out one of those really large deer from the other pictures than you're going to be left with this guy spreading genetics.

Find yourself a youth hunter to take out this buck, it could be very rewarding on several different fronts.
