My uncle was fortunate enough to harvest this deer last shotgun season in Illinois. He hasn't hunted in years and took his son(pictured) out on the last day of second season after some begging. They knocked on a door, received permission, and within a hour had this monster buck on the ground from a piece of property that they had never stepped foot on previously. Goes to show you that sometimes its better to be lucky then good. My uncle now loves to rub it in to all his nephews who are big hunters that if we ever have any questions to give him a call. This deer has a 24 inch inside spread, the longest brow tine is over 11 inches, the deer was extremely old, had no teeth and field dressed it weighed less then 150 pounds.
