Some of you may have heard or seen some of the preliminary ads / press releases on the new contact lenses being marketed by Bausch & Lomb. In a partnership with Nike the lenses are being produced to enhance visual performance during outdoor sporting activities. There are 2 type of lenses offered: amber, and a grey-green. The amber is very similar to wearing a pair of shooting glasses only in contact lenses.... the other type is similar to a polarized sunglass. Our office is one of the preliminary sites nationally to introduce this lens. I am going to be 'test driving' the amber lenses this weekend for myself. From what I have seen and heard this may be an awesome lens for use under hunting situations.... ie. improved contrast sensitivity, etc. For additional info just type the lens name into a google search engine and you should find what you need..... I will let you know what I think after I have a chance to wear them in the timber and shoot some while wearing them....
