Question for you Goatman...those appear to be black crappie, correct? Are they from a pond that you own? I ask because I stocked black crappie in my new pond about a year ago. (I also stocked bass, three types of sunfish, channel cats and a few grass carp too.) I have yet to drop a line in the water, perhaps I will tonight though. I know my less than 1 year old fish will not be that big yet, but I am curious to learn about your experiences with black crappie in a pond, etc. (Assuming those came from a pond that is.) TIA.

Gills are anytime table fare. 12 to 13" crappie not so often.
