non res doe tags?

Anyone know if you can buy non res doe tags over the counter after the 10 day sales deadline passes? Hardware store says no?

We bought them in Walmart last year the day before the season. The county has to have tags available.

Guess they stop selling them online 10 days prior I suppose because of delivery. I tried to go to the hardware store to get one for my buddy and she says they can't sell them over the counter. The quota isn't full

Something must have changed because we bought them in Indianola last year on day before season...maybe two days before?

I think it was more a problem of where I went. It says in the rule book they will be available for purchase up to the last day of the season or when the quota is filled. It says its not full and the season isn't over.
