He looks mature so I'm guessing there's no hope.

If you notice the swelling in his knees and the overall rough look of his body, this old boy is WAY past his prime. He's well over 6 years old. I would'nt be surprised if he's 10+.

ha
he is old!

not sure if id recommend shooting him or not, althought id would be cool to say you shot a grand daddy!!! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif i think youd be better off letting nature take its course....

make sure you have plenty of friends around to haul that moose out. I love them old boys.

That is the kind of buck I'd like to be. Old as dirt, big bodied and have daggers to run into any other buck out there that gets in the way. Plus nobody would want to shoot me. I'd watch your back when walking through the woods. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Andy,
You could shoot that one at my place. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

wow he's a true old monarch and hard telling about the rack, it could be genetics, age, injury or who knows, but I don't think it would be worth it to shoot him for culling purposes.
