165 Iowa Nonresident Any-Deer Gun Licenses Will Go On Sale July 30
The drawing for the 2011-12 nonresident Iowa deer hunting licenses has been completed and the following zones have any deer gun licenses remaining: Zone 1 – 21 licenses, Zone 2 – 66 licenses, Zone 8 – 12 licenses and Zone 10 – 66 licenses.
These excess licenses will be sold beginning at 6 a.m., Central Standard Time, July 30, 2011, along with the required antlerless only licenses.
Information on the zones and how to apply is available under the Nonresident Hunting tab at www.iowadnr.gov.
All of the zones for any deer bow licenses have sold out. Hunters who were unsuccessful in drawing their zone preference should begin receiving refunds at the end of August.
