November Antlerless Season Deer Licenses on Sale Nov. 15
DES MOINES – November antlerless season licenses go on sale Nov. 15, in the counties that have antlerless licenses remaining. The hunting regulations incorrectly listed the on sale date as Nov. 10. The antlerless deer only season runs Nov. 28, 29 and 30.
Currently, there are 52 counties primarily in southern and eastern Iowa that have antlerless-only licenses available. For a listing of counties, go to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources website http://www.iowadnr.gov then click on Licenses in the navigation column on the left, then click on Current Availability of Limited Quota of Deer and Turkey Licenses, then on Resident Antlerless Deer by County.
Hunters may purchase as many licenses as they wish until the quota is filled. Licenses are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
