One less

Well, finally connected on one the morning of 12/17. Got out just after daylight for a morning only hunt that day. After sitting for a few hours, around 10:00, not thinking I was going to get a chance, I saw her running across the neighbor's hay field into a draw and out of sight. Thought that was probably all I'd see of her, but then I caught movement across the ditch from me, and I thought I better get the gun up just in case. Then I saw movement between the trees on my side and thought "here we go!" Pulled the gun up, waited a few seconds, thinking "don't mess this one up", and then found her in my scope. She was just walking at this point, so I kept her in view until she cleared some brush. Then put the cross hairs right in the vitals and squeezed the trigger. DRT! NTR! Just like I like 'em! No hero pic as I was by myself, but here is a pic of her before the drag (exit side):

This makes my first known kill. Thanks for reading!

Congrats, appears to be the year of the 'yote for a lot of people.

This is my second attempt on a coyote this year. Missed the first one at around 40-45 yards during early bow. I've seen or heard a coyote close on atleast 5 sits this year. The times I didn't get a shot were when the coyote didn't come close enough or I didn't see it come in in time.
