Next monday hopefully I will have a gobbler by now. What seasons is everyone going and what do you plan to harvest them with. I am going 1st and 4th, but not sure yet what I want to harvest them with. I would like to take one with the bow this year. But I will decide when the end of this week gets closer. Good luck to everyone this season and hope everyone has a safe and successful season.
 
I am headed out only 2nd season, bringing the gun and bow in, if they come within 30 yards I'll stick them but if they try to hang up on me I'll teach them a lesson!!
 
I am going out 2nd and 4th season. 2nd season with a gun and 4th season with a bow...hopefully I will have some luck this year.

I'll be buying a bow tag so that I can go any little chance I get. Between work and the boys baseball/soccer, I can't dedicate much time to it this spring.
 
First season with the muzzleloader and a second tag for bow only. Nice to finally have this option

So if I am reading this right, I can get both shotgun and bow. Which means I could fill my bow tag and shotgun tag in the first season if the birds work out. Or am I reading it wrong. For some reason the regs are not quite to clear to me. Could someone explain a little better.
 
I don't think you can fill two tags the first season. If you grab the bow tag for the entire 4 seasons, than you can only get a gun tag for 4th season. However, if you get a gun tag for 1st, then you can get the combination tag for 4th.

I thnk kratz is right but I might be wrong also. I am planning on going 2nd and fourth I am just doing shotgun. I just cant seem to ever get em that close hahaha!!!!

Yep...just re-read the regs and I believe that these guys are correct...archery only means the only gun tag can be 4th. An improvement, but still not right

Yeah you guys are right. I'm getting my archery only license for all the seasons and a gun tag for fourth just in case I can't get on them with the bow.
 
Just wanted to point something out. If you are a landowner who wants to hunt with a bow the whole season and also hunt with a gun 4th season, make sure you get a paid bow tag and a landowner gun tag.

That way you can hunt all season and all over the state with all your buddies with a bow!
