Anybody else with tags left getting nervous? I have both days off but I have yet to get a good buck within range this late season. Might just have to whack a doe

, but those are hard to get close to these days. Then no deer hunting for almost 9 months. Oh well, almost time to start scouting for next years buck.

Take a doe.That's what we should be doing more of anyway.Those old buck's have seen it all and are as hard to see right now as they will be all year.
 
I know I had not much time left and no luck at all seeing bucks - let alone a shooter. Wound up smacking a doe myself. Great memory, just nothing hanging on the wall to remember it by is all.
 
Was looking through my hunt journal the other day and saw that twice in the last few years I've arrowed a fat doe on the 10th of January. One time in particular I let two small bucks walk at 4:00 PM and was sure it meant an empty freezer. The doe I was looking for didn't show until about 5 minutes after sunset. It's a blast taking it down to the wire, and I'll be out after 'em again tomorrow. Good luck all!

I've got both bow and late muzzle tags left. Since I haven't picked up the bow for about a month, that tag will stay empty but hope to get out tonight and tomorrow to fill the muzzleloader tag.

Another fat doe will work just fine.

This really sucks! I have been sick all week and I know if I go out I will hear about it from my wife. "Oh too sick to work but not too sick to go hunting"...I can hear her now! Hey I wonder If I can sell my tag on E-bay?
