Opening day

Three Doe nothing within good bow range....Had to go to work...hit it again at 4pm

Checked a field out 1/2 mile from home this a.m, maybe 30 does and fawns and 4 bucks, had a solid 160 class buck at 70 yards, could have easily killed him with the smokepole but I'm looking for a particular buck and besides, it's way to early. The madness has begun, I love it my wife hates it and I'm going out again this evening.......and tomorrow!

I work the night shift and happened to see a 3 1/2 and a 2 1/2 yr still traveling together. I saw this on CCTV(camera) at about 2:30 in the morning. That really got my blood going, and it especially didn't help with the fever.

I've never saw so many deer on opening day EVER!! A cold snap got them moving, aside from the 4 bucks I saw in the a.m, I saw 10 different bucks last night in a different spot, ranged from a couple little wee guys, some avg 4x4's, a couple avg 5x5's and 2 dandies, I was set up too far off to get a shot, actually was just watching the place to see where to go up with a climber tonight, hopefully things are as busy tonight.

Went this A.M. didn't see a thing, until I got out of my stand to come to work and there was eight doe in the field feeding back to the timber. Bummed me out I wanted to get a doe right away to fill the freezer maybe tomorrow.

Shot a doe Fri. night...boy was it a chilly one on stand...woo felt like november

Have seen a bunch of deer despite the fact that some jerk decided to poach a deer last night directly in front of one of my stands. Hopefully not the one I want.

hey nicerack sorry to hear about the poacher.
