As far as the rubber boots, I have used them the last couple of years after I was talked into it and have been disappointed to say the least. Once I get settled into the stand, I can smell the scent of rubber...honestly..and if I can smell it, I know the deer can as well. I can understand during a morning hunt with dew on the ground and leather boots but as long as it is dry out, I am all set to wear the leathers again. I think I am going to pick up the Danner Canadians sometime during the summer.
