Out of State Gun Tag

I'm curious to know if it would be possible for an out of state hunter to legally acquire a buck tag during the shotgun seasons for consecutive years.

I'm familiar with the rules for out of state hunters as they pertain to bow tags, but I'm not familiar with how the law pertains to the shotgun seasons.

It's a lottery draft so yes, we've had a guy do it more than 2 consecutive years. I'm thinking he's drawn 3 years in a row now

It also depends upon the zone. I saw as of last week an out of stater could have still purchased an anysex tag in zone 2 over the counter.

There are twice as many guns tags given to NR as bow tags, but the applicants are almost reversed, so it is much easier to get a gun tag than a bow tag. In other words it may be every two-three years to draw a bow tag, but a NR could easily draw a gun tag almost every year.
