Hickory Ridge Bowhunters are proud to host our Outdoor 600 target round Sunday May 20, 2012
All archers welcome to shoot!!
You need not be a member of any club or organization to shoot this Hickory Ridge Shoot.
If this is your first outdoor target shoot, this is the perfect time to get your "feet wet".
Location: At our outdoor Range 6 miles west of Pella on Hwy G28 near Roberts Creek on the Banks of Lake Red Rock (GPS Address: 1628 Hwy G28 - Pella, IA 50219)
Time: Line times available for 9 am or 1 pm (Limited lanes available - there may not be room for any walk-ins - please pre-register)
Registration only taken through email to email@hickoryridge3d.com – pay when you get there. Please send name, address, phone #, age and class plus which line you would prefer to shoot – all emails will be returned and confirmed.
Target: we will be shooting an Outdoor Target 600 Round
- 4 ends of 5 arrows at each distance - shooting 60, 50 and 40 yards - possible score of 600
- The target will be the 122 cm. single spot target face with gold - red - blue scoring areas.
- X's used for tie breaking - first shot dropped being the second tie breaker.
- Cubs 11 and under will shoot at 10-20-30 yards
- Youth 12-14 shoot 30-40-50 yds
- All archers 15 and up shoot 40-50-60.
Divisions: Money Division: $50 with $38 going into the winning pot based on ISAA rules for break down for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place - cash only - no trophies in money class.
Adult Male: FS & BHFS 18 & older (must have 4 or more in each class or FS & BHFS will become just an FS class)
Adult Female: FS & BHFS 18 & older (must have 4 or more in each class or FS & BHFS will become just an FS class)
Young Adult Male: FS & BHFS 15-17 (must have 4 or more in each class or FS & BHFS will become just an FS class)
Young Adult Female: FS & BHFS 15-17 (must have 4 or more in each class or FS & BHFS will become just an FS class)
Youth Male: FS & BHFS 12-14 (must have 4 or more in each class or FS & BHFS will become just an FS class)
Youth Female: FS & BHFS 12-14 (must have 4 or more in each class or FS & BHFS will become just an FS class)
Cubs Unisex - FS or BB 11 or under (FS = sights, stabilizers, scopes BB = no sights, no stabilizer, scopes, or releases) Shoot at 10 yards
Cost: $50 Money Class, $12 adult, $8 Youth 13-16, 12 and under free with a paying adult
There is no separate practice area on site - 2 practice ends will be allowed.
Seating is limited so you may wish to bring a folding chair.
Walk-ins accepted if there is an open lane – Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your line time.
Targets will be double scored.
Trophy pins will be awarded.
