Paper testing my bow

If I paper tested my bow, what are things to look for? And if I do find problems, what causes them, and how can I solve it?
Thanks, and good hunting

I would look at a free tune quide such as what Easton offers at http://www.eastonarchery.com/news/tuningGuide/complete_tuning_guide.pdf
It will tell you what to look for and the causes for the problems which can cause nock high/low or tear left/right. The paper tune is a good start but group tune is where I would recommend you end. My recommendation for paper tune would be to end up with the nock tearing slightly high (1/4 - 1/2") and maybe a hint to the left, assuming you are a right handed compound bow release shooter.

Good luck!
