patching

Anyone know what the best way to patch rubber boots. I got about a inch size tear and not sure what would work.

Your local hardware store should have a rubber patch kit for garden hoses. Make sure the kit has a patch big enough for the tear. Some only have small patches. My hardware guy showed them to me and he's used them. You mix the goop, spread it on your patch and boot. Wait til its tacky and press together. The patch will be stronger than the boot. Sorry I can't remember the brand name. I think it was something with Rhino in it?

thats my guess...use them on my waders when i get holes in them.

I can't find my tube BUT I think what I've always used is SHOE GOO??? It's in a red tube. It's the BOMB!!!! Clean with alcohol and scratch up the area & apply shoe goo and whoa, it's awesome.
