Paw paw seeds

Got a bunch of them this year. Will they grow? Got no idea and supposedly you need a couple for pollination purposes.

That said, if you want some, PM me and I might drop some in the mail.;)

You can get them to grow from seed very easily. Store in the fridge like acorns and you will have little paw paws once you plant them outdoors next year.

Just remember, they may take 1-2 months after planting to germinate and new seedlings like minimal sun instead of full sun to start with.

Good luck!!

I don't care to have any more on my property. They sucker like crazy, creating the storied "paw paw patch". Also, I'm not sold on the deer liking them. They don't browse the leaves like the other trees in the orchard and the fruit seems to hang on the tree rather than dropping. If anything, from a game management perspective, I think they are more of a thicket producer.

Just being honest on my view and could care less if I mail them to anyone (but I will).
