Pics And The Dog Days of Summer

My son was home from upstate NY with his family for a few days and today we had plans but they fell threw. So my wife said lets all go to the pool my eyes lite up do they have a high diving board. My 22 year old daughter said yes they do but no way are you going to do it. We get there and I see it so I go straight to it and told my son to snap a few pics. I'm in line waiting my turn to go off as there are 3 young boys ahead of me. They are looking at me like you are to old to be here on the high dive. So they get done and out of the way now it's my turn. The young female life guard blows the whistle at me and say are you sure you want to do this I gave a thumbs up and sprang on the board hoping for the best. The first pic shows good height you have to admit . The second pic shows a poor entry point. Now I know why I had below the belt pain all these years At 55 yrs old my high dive days are over but was fun to do it one last time. Deer season is sneaking up on us as we get ready for the upcoming season so enjoy the last days of summer with the family as we wait for the game to begin.

Awesome !! Last time I went off a high board was about 2-3 years ago. Tried to do the flip I used to do all the time in Jr High - let's just say that didn't go very well 35+ yrs later .
