A Few Steps Ahead Of You
Well, it's that time of year and these buggers are EVERYWHERE. Populations were so dense I couldn't eat my lunch without getting interrupted.
I said heck with it! I got up, drove to the hardware store and purchased the right kind of ammo and began killing.
I'm up 21 and just watched another take the bait... Sucker...
To help, I modified the "canister" and stretched the tape out so more flies would check it out, because these things never work right out of the box.
I also used the DSD Breeding Pair 'O Flies and it really seemed to do the trick. The fly wings they come with are not realistic, so I pulled the wings off a live fly and pinned them to the fly decoys. It worked like a charm!!!!
Now I gotta figure out how to implement movement in my deke spead because to fool a true Boone and Cricket House Fly, you gotta use only the most realistic decoys and gear....

This bait site has been very active, it's attracting all the mature flies.....
