A piece of property that my father owns has a large tract of pines on it that have matured. These pines were planted many years ago and were probably planted too close. They completely block the sun from hitting the forest floor and to me the area seems like a bare waste of space. I was wondering if anyone has ever had a logger come in and remove a tract of pines like this before and what type of money, if any, can you expect from pine? Thanks for the help!
