Sorry guys, I'm not knowledgeable in this space. Can you tell me what this tree/shrub is? I want to spray rose and might have some collateral damage to these

From phone kinda looks like gray dogwood but it sorta looks like undeveloped box elder or mulberry that didn't get shape of leaves yet. Any more pics in height, shape, location, etc?

Trying to get more pictures and now see a similar one, also no idea what it is. Far less in population and not too concerned about it compared to the original. For location, I'm not sure what will help but SC Iowa, hill top all the way to a valley, in fence line and timber and mostly clay soil

More pics of the original; height ranges from 2' - 10', most are in the 7' range:

Here is the other plant I started started to confuse it with. This appears to be an actual tree...hard to tell from the ground but looks like the other 40' trees that are already leaved out:

Here are the 2 together; the one I'm asking about is the one on the bottom:

I thought honeysuckle as well since it was leaved out so soon. But i can't really find any honeysuckle pics that I think they match up to

I'm thinking honeysuckle bush but elderberry bush is a close second. if it was flowered we would know for sure. Not sure on elderberry but honeysuckle is shallow rooted. If you have some a 1/2" or smaller in diameter give it a tug. Those last pics I would bet honeysuckle bush.

I can't see any of the pics for some reason but I was wondering if it is bush honeysuckle from the descriptions.

With the extra pictures I'm 99% you looking at honeysuckle. The second plant with the catkins looks like chokecherry to me...

I drove by these today. In river bottoms, it was the 1st shrubs to leaf out it appeared. For sure some type of shrub. Ya, it's kinda on the tip of my tongue but I think I even have to wait til they flower out and grow more. I know someone here knows but this one is tricky. I know it isn't something like mulberry as the because when I looked at mine in yard, no leaves. Some under-story shrub that's prevalent in bottoms here around me. I remember when honeysuckle was all over in SE iowa, I remember that being a much smaller plant. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Ok, I googled it - drove me nuts.... bush honeysuckle sure looks close. Elderberry a possibility as well.
