Our son Tyler (youngmoose) will undergo open heart surgery Thursday at Rochester. He has two congentital heart defects from birth that was only discovered this past 6 months. One of the defects is not all that uncommom and could have been corrected with a procedure but the other can only be repaired through surgery. We need to be in Rochester Wednesday for testing with the surgery the following morning.

We know all three of out boys are good kids but Tyler has always had that extra something about him that made him friends with everyone. He is hands down my best friend and hunting partner. With Gods help he will out live his parents and be a great dad someday. I'm asking all my friends here to please say a prayer for Tyler.

Sorry to hear this and hope things go smoothly.

Thoughts and prayers will be directed your way.

Moose:

Daughters have a soft spot in Fathers hearts but the bound of a man and his sons is something special. The efforts that go into trying to shape their character and seeing it unfold make the bound very deep.

I hope for the very best for Tyler over the next few weeks. Stay strong and keep your faith. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Hope everything goes well and he has a speedy recovery.

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm guessin he has a small hole in the wall between the two top chambers in his heart and a valve that isn't closeing all the way?

He is in good hands, both medicaly and parently.
