Although some of the posts in this Forum aren't "Deer" related, we've never kept anyone from posting them. From what I could tell, most of these posts have started out well, and with good intention. Five or six replys into it someone decides to stir the pot and throw in a snide remark or two just to see if they can cause some chaos. It's getting a little bit ridiculous to be honest with you all. We're all supposed to be adults here, so if you don't have anything good or positive to say about someone's post, please don't say anything at all. Nuff said.......

I promise, I'm really trying to behave. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Thanks from me also, Critr. This is a fantastic hunting site, and I really enjoy the variety of comments, stories, opinions, and ideas that are shared here. However, it is real discouraging to see good people jump into comments and name-calling that they wouldn't have the oysters to do face-to-face. This is the time of year when it tends to get the worst. Moderators - thanks for addressing the issue. Let's get back full-time to celebrating hunting, and hunters !

Some one explain to me why, or how, with 8703 registered users there have been about a half dozen or so folks over the years who have gotten the site riled up enough to make some of us into posters we would never other wise be?

It is kinda like your kids fighting at home, "he started it" "no he startes it". Doesn't matter who started it you just want 'em to shut up and behave. So I'll shut up, and I'll try to behave.

Good post.

I enjoy the variety of things discussed here, and mostly things stay within the lines.

Since I can only dictate what I post/say, that's what I do.

HOWEVER, I do think arguing is part of living (a moderated form of making your point, if you will)...if anyone feels the need to do so please do it through PM's, somethings are better left off a public forum, regardless of how "fired-up" someone has made you.

I'm kind of a mouthy, sarcastic prick in real life as well as on the net so I can dish it but I can also take it. It is fun to ruffle the feathers every once in a while. Life is like a soap opera, the out-of-the-lines stuff is just plain interesting. Kind of like a train-wreck, you know its bad but you gotta look. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Otherwise, why would there be so many hits on some of these threads? I agree this is a hunting site and we should stick to the agenda. We're all usually pretty good until some dill-hole comes along and I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut sometimes but I promise I'll try harder. "Insert angel with halo gremlin here". This is the best site going, and there are plenty of other sites where dill-holes can go start trouble. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
