Plots Coming Up?

I haven't made it up to my farm yet to see how my newly planted clover/chicory mix is doing but I was wondering if any of your food plots that were planted either this last fall or this spring are coming up yet? And what's everybody planting?

So far, I have just frost seeded clover on about 200 yards of ATV trail and as of 1 1/2 weeks ago most of the trail was coming up very well. I will be working on tilling up my big plots later this week (weather permitting) and can't wait to get started. Those plots will be split 1/2 clover and 1/4 brassicas (planted later in the summer) and 1/4 winter peas and winter wheat (planted later in the summer)

I checked a frost seeded clover plot this weekend and so far just weeds. No sign of any clover at all. Should I be worried?

knuckledragr . same boat as you, frost seeded plots twice .el zippo im very confused . a frost seeded cut out in the woods is coming in nicely though, doesn't make sense

Checked one of my frost seedings today and the grasses started growing first, but now you can see the little clover coming in. I would give it a little time before you give up on it. If the grass gets tall, either mow it, or spray it :way:

My Crimson Clover raked in back begining of April is up and growing nice. Think I can see the frost seeded white, but it is tiny yet. Of bigger concern are my apples and pears. Last year they bloomed,, then froze,,with 3 nights of 25' in southern IA. Now my trees are loaded with fruit buds. What is needed is a stretch of warm, dry,,weather so insects can do a good job of pollination. What is the forecast? COLD,WINDY,,WET !
