About second half we got into regs. All the stuff we been “debating” (mainly against farm bureau but a bit among ourselves)- regs & stuff. Whole thing we cover a long list… regenerative ag, living off land, regulations, native grasses, iowa sportsman’s club & IBA. Land prices (towards end), solar & wind energy, etc. We hit a lot of topics. I really like Kent & Nick who are in the prairie business & love what they do. They do a great job. First part a bit nerdy stuff on farming, soil, etc then hitting harder issues. Anyways - hope this helps some folks. :).
Think it’s on all platforms but here’s 2….

Great Podcast for sure. Nicholas and Kent are good guys and very knowledgeable about all parts of Native Warm Season grasses and Wild Flowers. They grow alot of what they sell right there on the farm.

Ya- I almost got into that biz about 6-10 years ago. I actually planted about 150 acres of different monocultures to harvest & did harvest 2 years in a row. I’d rather work with them vs trying to keep the growing & harvesting going. I really like those 2!!! Genuinely good dudes that are rare breed!!! Was 3 dudes in the room that genuinely want to help other people. Good times!!
