Pond Weeds

Need advice on any products that will kill water lillys and help thin some cattails.If anyone knows of a good product it would be appreciated and where could I get them........

Grass carp works pretty good on most pond weeds.

Not sure if they work on cattails do they???We have tried grass carp to no avail..........need something potent,for the weeds.....

Check around on Copper Sulfate...it works on algae and duck weed and coon tail I think????

The X-father-in-law used copper sulfate. Killed all vegitation in the pond. Don't remember if it had cat tails or not. I think he used a little too much. Fishing went down hill after that. Don't think it killed the fish just killed off the habitat and the small fish couldn't hide from the big fish. You could never pin down the big fish because they didn't have any structure to relate to.
