Heard this was taken in Minnesota, gross 192 net 189....WOW.

i believe you are right letemgrow.i think it was on boone and crocket trophy watch that it was poached and the guy got caught.

Last I heard the guy is now trying to claim he found it dead and just tried to tag it.. Let the courts decide.

You heard wrong. He's pleading on 9 different counts. Deer was shot with a high power in Oct on posted land after dark...just for starters!

Holy schnikes.

That's the best pic I've seen of that thing since the story surfaced....WOW that thing is crazy.

I hope they fry that dude.

But just look at how proud he looks in that photo. What a friggin tool!

The guy sounds like a real upstanding citizen: "Reinke has earlier convictions for gas theft, marijuana possession and fighting. He is currently on probation for domestic assault and could face probation violations if convicted of new charges." Hope they throw the book at this dirt-ball.

Not sure if it's true but I've heard that the gentleman in those photos is the taxidermist that the alleged offender took the head to. Just something I heard on another website....

The guy in the photo is not the shooter of the buck.

While it's unfair to call out they guy in the photo if he's simply the taxidermist (looks like a taxidermist shop in background), Skully beat me to the punch in his comment on the Star's quote regarding the criminal. What a class act the POACHER (dirt ball) is...
