Do you guys just use old broadheads for practice or is there someplace i could buy practice ones?

Ty,
What are you shooting? I have about 2 dozen thunderheads I am ready to get rid of...

A lot of manufacturers produce them. I used the g5 montec heads and they worked fine. When I was shooting thunderheads back in the day...

I would just take three and designate them as practice heads.

Seriously though, I am trying to get rid of the thunderheads to anyone that is shooting them. I have 100 and 125 grn. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Matt,
Get yourself a yellow jacket target. They are awesome for broadheads. Don't shoot field points into them though you may spend the rest of the day trying to get it out...

$40 target and worth every penny. I also have the block for my field points.

Yeah, that's been the consensus I've gathered from talking to folks. It about made me cry to see my Block destroyed after about half a dozen broadhead-shooting sessions. Darn those things are expensive!

Just sacrifice a new broadhead if they dont make a practice head like the muzzy's and then either buy replacement blades or a Lansky Sharpener set and sharpen it up before the season.

I have used the same broadhead long enough that I have blades with dings in them and just use them for practice and swap them out for good blades when hunting. If anyone wants a few blades for their 100 grain Muzzy 3-blade heads, I could share a few of them since I have more than I need.

I bought a pack of Montec practice heads. Like Matt said, darn near ruined my block. If anyone wants them, I will give them away. Just PM me and I will bring them to the classic. They are 100 gr. by the way.
