pre-coated/inoculated seed (clover specifically)

I am going to broadcast tomorrow and get my last bit of white ladino clover down. I didn't realize when I picked it from the co-op that it was precoated with "inoculant". Should I still inoculate the seed or not? The seed was processed 2/13. I know the coating supposedly only lasts so long. Just curious what others think or have done.

If you have packets of inoculant already bought, it won't store well, so might as well add it in. Otherwise, I'd go with the pre-coated seed w/out buying more inoculant.

LOL, so what you are saying is my year old inoculant that I used last year that is sitting in a Zip-Lock bag in my fridge is no good?

Just saying best used fresh. ;)

A farmer whose income depended on it, would buy fresh: food plotting, plenty good.
