I took a break from clearing brush yesterday morning so that I could get a few casts in before it started snowing. I caught three LM bass in under thirty minutes, this was the biggest. Break time was over, had to get back to work.
The little grub jig is laying on the ground by the tail of the bass. I was retrieving it as slow as possible across the bottom. It was going so slow the tail didn't flutter like they normally do. The bass were shallow, three to five feet of water. I watched two other bass follow the jig but not commit.
