Predator or ASAT?

I'm in need of some new camo for this upcoming season. It's a toss up for me between Predator or ASAT. In your opinion, which is better for the Iowa terrain?

You can't beat predator camo!

Okay.. i really wanna ask this to the people who use this Predator camo... Does it really work?

It doesnt seem like the right kinda pattern for the good ol iowa trees!! Seems.. just like you wouldnt blend in very well! lol

I'm also looking to buy camo here soon and will be making a trip to sportsmans wearhouse this weekend!!

The guys on here really like it and they all seem very successful with it.
If you plan on buying any predator camo you need to check out one of the sponsors of this site
Gray Wolf Woolens.

I hope to get some this year myself.

It works. It breaks your outline up. Don't think of what it would look like at 10 yards with a tree trunk as your back ground. Think of it at 30 yards with branches and skyline for your back ground. Even at 30 yards with the tree trunk at your back you blend in great. At 75-100 yards you better have good binos and know right where the person is standing to find them when they have predator on. Oh, and predator works just as well on the ground. The only thing that sucks about predator is not very many companies carry the predator pattern so the type of clothing options are limited as far as styles and fabric choices. Really burns my behind...

I think just about any camo will work for the most part. That being said I think that Predator or ASAT break up the outline better from long distances. They don't tend to turn into a big blobs in the tree or on the ground. If you stay still you'll probably be fine for the most part, but for me I'm sticking with what worked this past year.

Muddy, is that Fall Gray?

love the predator deception. green deception for turks in spring. going to melt my credit card down getting ready for fall

I bought the Predator fall grey this last winter. Have not bow hunted with it yet but it has to be better than the Mossy oak black-up I was using.

Mine is fall gray. I love spring green for turkeys and early october.

I think predator is worth the price, though I don't think it's much more than other camo. You look on ebay and you can get normal longsleeve cotton shirts for around $15-$20. Pants/coats around $50 or less.

The Gray Wolf camo I have on in those pictures is worth the money, I doubt I'll need new camo for a LONG time.
