Pretty Boy vs B-Mobile

DarkArcher

Lung Buster
Fellas I looked for a previous post on this but couldn't find one. It seems as if most of you favor the Pretty Boy here and I am in the market for a full strut deke.

The last couple of places I went only had the B-Mobile, I would like to get one prior to this weekend so my question is: For hunting purposes over the looks of the deke do they serve the same purpose/work the same? Is there a reason the Pretty Boy seems more common/used? The attaching of the tail fan seems to be the only real differnce to me, Thanks in advance!

The pretty boy is harder to tote around. B-Mobile is nice cause it rolls up and you can fit it in a bag along with a few hen decoys so you can create a mini flock. I think the pretty boy looks better, but the B-Mobile gets the job done and is easy to move around with. I saw several Pretty Boys at Scheels at Jordan Creek and at Coral Ridge.

I don't think it matters. I have a pretty boy cuz i think it looks better. I don't think the turks much care. Could be one of those things that attract more hunters than birds.

I agree, Pretty Boy definitly looks better but I personally don't think the turkeys care.

This is why I got a B-Mobile. I can get 3 hens and B-Moblie in a sack fairly easily.

I also think Pretty Boy looks a lot better.

agreed so far!!

he is harder to carry, buy Pretty boy looks better IMO

Thanks guys, I got home yesterday and my brother had brought the B-Mobile home. We got in the blind quick and had 3 strutters turn and leave the set-up quickly when they saw the decoy. There were no hens around and they crested the ridge at about 65-70 yards but tucked tail and ran???

Thanks for the input.

We had a bird bust out of strut and leave after he saw our Pretty Boy. I think it scared the crap out of him. We then killed a bird later with a jake deke out.

Those birds probably had just had their butt whooped by a more dominant tom. The strutting decoy generally brings in the bigger birds. We saw the bird I shot last year get his tail kicked by a tom and come running towards my calls. I had my B-Mobile set up and he saw the B-Mobile and started running. He didn't want a double butt whooping. Luckily I was able to dump him at 50 yards.

Thanks Brock! It brought one in last night and the arrow hit a little far forward and I couldn't locate the bird. Oh well early in the season and as long as it keeps brining birds in like that it should be a good season.
