Saw lots of birds- some just flew too early- but still had a great day with some good friends and my father. 6 quail- 1 rooster and saw a ton of wildlife. Had a 160+ class buck jump right in front of me after I nearly stepped on him- came across 4 different large covey of quail as well

Snuck out of work early with a buddy today for just an hour- got Into another mess of quail and pheasants. Quail have made a great comeback in my hunting area!
 
Quail are making a decent comeback throughout the state. . A lot of them near me, if numbers are still good next yr I think I'm going to try and take a few then..

I've got a few pheasants on my farm, ought to take a walk one of these days......

Have the true perfect day this Saturday. Pheasant / quail hunt AM one property and bow or
Muzzy afternoon-dark!
