Pride and Joy Plots

Let's see some pictures of your pride and joy plots. We all put alot of hard work into our plots here is your chance to show them off.

I will start it with this chicory clover combo plot I started last fall with mixed results and tons of weeds. This March I frost seeded more chicory and a mix of clovers and we kept it clipped all year and I am very happy with the results. This plot has been pounded from green up on and is doing a great keeping up with the pressure. It is 3/4 of an acre.

Looks good Travis! Just put together our first real food plot on Aug. 6th. The farmer drilled oats (and a little alfalfa & beans that were left in his hoppers!) and at the same time he topped it off with our clover. The oats have really started in good and I'm sure the clover will be coming soon. Our plot is about the same size as yours. We have a nice ground blind that we put in a couple of years ago.

This should be perfect for youth season. You can see the outline of the field edge in last year's photo. The field is beans this year and everything from there to the woods has been planted.

The plot will get shade early in the evening and the furthest shot across the plot is right at 100 yds. I will get pics this weekend of the new growth. I am just tickled to finally get this little plot started.
