A Few Steps Ahead Of You
well this weekend, a couple rods in my brand new DB matrix got busted.... i was pretty bummed since i just got this blind and would be using it this upcoming week during 4th season.
The blind didnt break as a flaw, but rather the hubs twisted and locked as it was being set up.
Today i spent quite a bit of time calling different numbers (as Bonker mentioned) and finally got through. i explained the situation and the gentleman who helped me was very personal, as those old boys down south usually are. he told me, however, i would have to cover shipping. which i was willing to do. at the end of the conversation, he asked me.
"how long have you had this blind?"
"2 months," i said.
"well, its monday, im tired and dont want to fill out the paper work, ill just send you 2 rods, plus an extra in the event of another break, and we will cover the shipping....'
"Sweet! i will certianly continue to be a paying customer for you guys!"
I was honestly concerned since you all know that Primos bought DB out, usually a decline in CS happens in mergers like that. but i can tell you it hasnt! i am happy with my experience and when my rods show up, ill be 100% satisfied!
and i asked about the ball issue Bonker brought up. they told me that the new system incorportates metal balls. the old ones are plastic, so the system has worked, but they apparently improved it. i dunno, thats the word anyhow!
Double Bull customer for life! thats why i pay the money for that kind of quality!
