Hi Everyone,
I don't know if anyone has seen it yet or not but I just purchased this head lamp at cabelas and thought I'd give my thoughts in case someone is on the fence about purchasing it. The reason why I bought it is it is capable of 150 lumens for 4 hours on double A batteries and 90 lumens on the low setting for 12 hours.
My streamlight scorpion I believe is rated at 90 lumens and uses the 3V Lithiums that are expensive and only last an hour. So with that, I figured this one would pay for itself easily after about 2 long tracking jobs with my other light.
I was very skeptical about this light being bright however, I just lit up the neighborhood and have no problem scoping stuff out at 75 yards easily. I can't shine any further than that in town but I am very pleased with it. It is a very bright light and only costs $39.99. Thumbs up for me!!
