Some of the usual suspects are making multiple appearances now and we are becoming pretty familiar with some of the bucks. But to start things off, we have a newcomer to show off...one that is somewhat interesting!
I am not sure if that is an injury or what, but we got several pictures of him and he is pretty much missing most of his right antler.
Ol' Bent Brow is back again, we have many, many good pictures of this one. I'd say he is outside his ears by a good 2"-3".
I really hope one of my boys can get lined up with him this fall, we shall see though, we shall see.
Another nice 8, that I am now sure is a different buck than Bent Brow. We have a lot of pictures of this one too. He is just outside his ears, not as wide as Bent Brow.
You can't ask for a much better picture than this one.
We only had one picture of this dude until this pull, but we got several of him this time. He is our definite #1 Target this year.
We have a variety of smaller bucks showing up too and the usual does and fawns. But it does seem as though we are not seeing as many fawns on the cams this year. My son also found a fairly fresh fawn skull too, so hopefully we don't have any significant predation going on with the youngsters.
There doesn't seem to be any "dark" velvet left on these guys so I think they are pretty much done growing now. It's a waiting game now until the season starts I guess. I'll be curious to see which of these guys are spotted on our place this fall and also what "strangers" show up.
