Purchasing Trail Cameras

Any suggestions on purchasing a decent trail camera, I have read a lot of reviews from Cabelas and such, but Id like input from fellow hunters on this subject, price range Id like to stay in about $200 or so. Ive got a few nice bucks walking around in the middle of the night that Id like to get a closer look at.

For $200 it's hard to go against the Moultrie IR 40. It's a real solid camera w/ fast trigger, great battery life, and decent pics.

It's not homebrew quality but it's nice for the $.

Check out www.chasingame.com for reviews on all these cameras. Lots of good insight there but not the holy grail.

Good luck

We just got the Moultrie IR40's in stock and TallTines is right. For the money, that is going to be a tough camera to beat!
