I am deciding to go late muzzy and I have a pursuit lt muzzy. This is the first time I Will be hunting with it. I will be puttin a scope on it but I heard certain guns take certain loads better. If anyone has the same gun what do you shoot out of it?

Right now I have pyrodex 50 grain pellets, and hornaday sabots with 209 primers.

Certain guns do take certain loads better. No doubt about it. Some will even argue that even two of the same make and model guns may not shoot the same round the same way. Your best bet is to try a few out. I've used powerbelts, but I've heard really good things about Barnes expanders. BUT I have never shot a pursuit muzzy. Also most muzzy powders are pretty corrosive, so I'd recommend at least running a patch down the barrel between shots or every couple shots. Also, look up what bullet weight works best with your twist rate. That should get you in the ballpark. Then buy a couple different brands and try them out.
