Put my name on a Bowtech Guardian today!!

DOR

Went in over my lunch period today just to see what all the fuss was about in regards to the new Bowtech Guardian. Well, I was a naughty boy

, it only took about 3 arrows flung and I was 750$ poorer.

Anyone in the market for a Hoyt razortec? I will include Wisker bisquit deluxe, 2 simms stabilizers, Hoyt 5 arrow quiver, and 6 arrows. 450$ to your door. For another 50$ I will include the cosmic impact site as well. Any takers? She has been a good bow.

Limb and others, what did you accessorize with on your guardians? How are you liking your bow Limb? Sitll the cats ass?

I have a limb saver 5 oz stabilizer on mine, a trophy ridge drop zone rest, and until recently a trophy ridge 5 pin matrix. Shredder sent me his old Spott Hogg and I've converted completely. Nice apline quiver on the side and I'm shooting 5 inch groups at 60 yards.

RazorTEC is my 2nd favorite bow of all time, almost wish I had my old girl.

I shot one the other day and they are sweet!! They are a little hard on the pull but I'm sure you could get used to that with all the rest that bow has to offer!! Lets see some pics of the new setup!

should be getting mine next week, that is as soon as i get a day off, asked the boss for ot and got lots of it.more extras

DOR,
I am going to put a spot hogg whammy on it this summer for deer season. I love that thing but there were none to be had when I was outfitting mine. That is the only thing I would change.

All you guys with these new bows! I say BLAH to you all! ha, ha Doesn't help guys like myself who are fighting the new bow bug. Are there any support groups out there for this type of thing?

I'm still waiting on mine as well. I plan to put on an Alpine softlock quiver, my VBG Trapper sight, and am also waiting for the new TT full capture rest. Sounds like the bow will be here before the rest, shipping in May?
Havent decided on a stabby yet, but if I was buying today I'd probably get the Simms S-coil.

hey limb, i got the spot hogg hunter .how hard is it to put on the wrap adpter, or should i just buy the new one with the wrap already on it. i like where the light installs too ! no more glare

Crash,
I did away with the wrap mod and bought the a light kit from fitz fiber. I think that $70 is too much for the spot hogg conversion and this works great in low light conditions... But to answer your question it isn't that difficult to complete the mod on the spot hogg. There are several great examples on the fitz site.

light bracket

These brackets work with the PSE Top Gun light. rheoglo rheostat site light

Finally got mine outfitted this week. So here it is:

Bowtech Guardian 60-70# 28"
Spot Hogg Whammy rest
Copper John Dead Nuts 2 Micro 4-pin (awesome sight)
Fuse 6" stabilizer (have a mini s-coil if I don't like the Fuse)
MeanV CSS

This bow is really a joy to shoot. The new Copper John sights are probably the best I've seen. And the new Spot Hogg Whammy was a piece of cake to set up and the concept is pretty sweet. Haven't super-tuned the bow yet but will in the near future. Eyeballed it and shot it a few times and had awesome groups. Plan on bare shaft tuning and walk back tuning. Then we will really see what she has.

Also, has anyone seen Treelimb Products. Thought about giving this quiver a try. Very adjustable and easy to hang in the tree.

Limb, did you change the factory cable slide on your Guardian? I think I might be getting cable contact (not positive) and was considering a Saunders Hyper-glide.

Will take some pics this morning and post them.

Pro Hunter Micro Sight
TT Shakey Hunter (this is getting replaced)
Trophy ridge two peace quiver.
CX Maxima arrows.
100 grn tips
loop (so far)
44 caliper release

The sight I like for Colorado but I will probably change to something else for deer. The Shaky Hunter is definitely going and I kinda like the looks of the spothog everyone else is talking about but I'm still trying to decide. I like the 44 caliper but will be looking around at some releases also. The CX Maxima arrows are great but I don't think they are that much better than Gold Tips.

Dor, I think i sent you a message about your old bow, but i'm not sure if it went through or not. Send me a pm if you still are interested in selling it.

you guys are killing me. still need to sell my tribute, and i'm still having trouble deciding between the allegiance and the guardian. allegiance is smoother on the draw, but that guardian is SOOO dead at the shot.

damn "new bow disease" is gettin' to me

Anyone out there that hasn't shot the new Bowtech Guardian, I warn you to stay away unless you are ready to purchase one because I guarantee after you shoot one and understand how it works and why, You'll have to have one.

I am currently sitting in Eugene Oregon having just finished up Bowtech's Dealer University 3 day training course. I actually got to go down on the factory floor and build a new Diamond Black Ice and then on over to the next line where I built a new guardian by myself and put the shipping label on it to get shipped out to ME! I can't wait to get home and shoot my new bow and try out some of the new tuning and tweaking ideas I learned from our high-speed video workshops!

Remember to share some of these ideas on IWT when you get home Boyd. Glad you had a good time.

I hope Bowtech comes out with a kicka$$ model next year so all you sheeple sell your year old Guardians!!!! Please, sell them cheap!
