QAD Ultra-Rest

and
Quad Ultra-Rest Pro

So anyone got any info on these or experience? Im looking at dumping my trophy ridge drop zone in favor of something else. The salesman at the the shop where I shoot video leauge suggested I look into these over the Rip-Cord.

I see some slight differences in the ability to adjust them? Is there something Im missing?

Anybody got any negative feedback against this rest or any dropaway full containment arrow rest?

I've been using the Rip Cord for a while and have never had a problem with it.

About the only difference between it and a QAD is that the QAD will stay up in the 'cocked' position if you let down slowly, but the Rip Cord will fall back down.

Both very good rest IMO. Get the benefits of a fall away rest but also have full containment.

Love my QAD. I have the ultra pro hd on my 101st airborne. It's a great full containment drop away. I love the fact that you can lock in in the up position no chance of the arrow falling from the rest. It performed flawlessly for me this fall, and I would recommend it to anyone.I've heard of some people having vane clearance issues with it but I haven't had any problems. Also from what I hear they have excellent customer service, but that is also secondhand info as I've never had to use it.

Alot of people use the QAD, I haven't tried one. I went with a LimbDriver on my latest rig because I don't like having anything tied onto my cables and I've never had an issue with the containment thing having formerly used a Trophy Taker. Seems like a good rest to me though.

I had one on my DXT, I switched to the Trophy Taker. No complaints on it, I just like the Trophy Taker better. The QAD is on my Trykon now.
