Question about leasing...

I have 2 farmers who border us that would make my place the cats meow for bow season. One is a 350 acre patch with about 10 acres of timbered draws and the other is 160 acres with about 30 acres of timber. How would one price that out as far as a lease?

Depends on the person leasing it to you.My uncle leases similar size ground for $500.00 a season from a cattle farmer.

$6-8/acre total acres

It is clear you have to lease it? Can't just get permission? I hate how everything is leased, or that is always a guys first thought. I am afraid all those nice old farmers will get in on the "lease" madness.

I understand that and have felt the same way for years. unfortunately, we live next to a town that is absolutely full of idiots. I have been toying with the idea of locking it down but may not.

Leasing it gives you total hunting control, that's a plus
