Question and Suggestion

I was just wondering why Iowa doesn't have a youth turkey season? It would make sence to me to have one! More tags sold = more money, and start a new generation of hunters perhaps!

And my suggestion is that at the Classic, I think it would be cool to have a turkey calling competition! I think it would be really cool and something new that could draw more people, even though they have a great turn out every year! Even though I probably wouldn't win a calling competition, I would still try it.

...not sure why they don't have a youth turkey season like they do for just about everything else...though I am also not sure when they would be able to hold it...1st season can bring snow and cold and the 4th season ends in the near heat of summer...and there are no open days once the seasons begin...we just need to do our part and take a young'un with us when we can...
