Question for Blind Sow....

Is it legal for my girlfriend to tag along with my father and I when we pheasant hunt? She hasn't taken a hunter safety course, is not liscensed and will not have a gun. She just wants to walk with us on our farm and see what all this "pheasant hunting business" is all about. Thanks in advance!

Yes she can accompany you---but---make sure she is walking right next to someone. If she (or anyone else doing the same thing) is not right next to someone she can be construed as aiding in the hunt by pushing the birds (or in other cases deer, etc.) and anyone assisting in the hunt needs a hunting license.
