Question on the special does season

Ok, i am not quite sure how this works with that special doe season. some people have been saying that you can use what ever method you want. not sure if that is true or not, also do you buy seperate tags for that season or can you use the unfilled tags that you have gotten from the other seasons and use them for does. let me know what is right and what isn't. thanks

Here is the skinny on what I have understood about the Special Late Season:

Obviously all tags for the special season are antlerless-only tags. You can buy up to three tags specifically for this season no matter what other seasons you hunted in already - you can't use unfilled tags from other seasons. After Dec. 15, 2003, if there are any tags left in your specific county, you can purchase even more tags for that special late season for $11 each until the quotas for that county are filled.

As far as what weapons you can use, it has been clarified to me by a DNR official that you can use any weapon that is already legal during all other seasons in Iowa - muzzleloader, bow, shotgun, pistol. I personally didn't think the hunting license information packet explained that very plainly.
