I know this doesn't pertain to whitetails but I'm looking for a little information about a trip to Canada. What are the rules and regs for taking guns across the border and if you have to register how long do you have to do it. Me and a couple of buddies want to go waterfowl hunting so i figure I better do some digging. If anyone could share some information with me on their experiences of what to do and not to do that would be great.

It's been a few years since I hunted Saskatchawan, they did not require gun registration at that time but they deffinately do now. I don't know what the pre-requirements are, maybe Sasguy will shed some light on that.
