Questions to Iowa anglers.

If you were to want to fish Pacific salmon, trout and/or steelhead from crystal-clear mountain streams and rivers, how far would you need to travel to do so? Is Black Hills, South Dakota the nearest place on the map to fly-fish for salmonids out of clean and pristine mountain waters? I don't like the old shopping cart dumped into the river. You need to get up higher into the mountains away from the city to get cleaner waters.
